Teerenpeli Distillery

Teerenpeli Group is a family company which consists of Brewery & Distillery Teerenpeli, Teerenpeli restaurants situated in Lahti, Helsinki and Tampere and Restaurant Taivaanranta in Lahti.
Brewery & Distillery Teerenpeli was established in Lahti in 2002. The famous beers and ciders of Teerenpeli are brewed in the kettles that are situated in the dining room.  Real Finnish Single Malt Whisky is produced in Teerenpeli distillery using domestic raw materials, traditional methods and original pot still equipment.

The distillery is the traditional pot-still distillery, and the alcohol produced will be matured in oak casks for at least three years, as required by law. However to produce malt whisky of higher quality, it is envisaged that a total maturation period of 8-20 years is more appropriate. Annual production capacity is in the region of 15,000 litres/year.
